Buffi Duberman (yes, it’s her real name, and it’s really spelled like that) is a native New Yorker who has spent more than half her life (which is a very long time!) coaching non-native English speakers in the use of their English. Over the last decade, she has built up her own company, creative communication consultants, (www.creacoco.com) where all the major players in the entertainment industry turn to when they need something done in English – whether it be lyric screening, pronunciation/dialogue/band coaching, media and interview training, translations, or songwriting. She is the founder of the English department at the internationally recognized Rock Academy (Europe’s first official Bachelor Degree Program in Pop and Rock Music, www.rockacademie.nl), and is a consultant and coach for TV shows including Idols, Starmaker, So You Wanna Be a Pop Star, and X Factor. She is the personal English coach to many award-winning artists and has The Best Job In The World. Buffi lives in the Netherlands with her husband and children, and is on an eternal quest to find the ultimate brownie. This is her first book.
